“You see, in my view a writer is a writer not because she writes well and easily, because she has amazing talent, because everything she does is golden. In my view a writer is a writer because even when there is no hope, even when nothing you do shows any sign of promise, you keep writing anyway.”

Hi Stephanie
You don’t know me, but I just wanted to say I read your recent blog post about the death of the beard and I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it – not just the writing (which is great) but your insights.
I was wondering if you’d mind if I included your quote about “beards being the push-up bra of masculinity” in my own blog?
I work in the advertising industry in Amsterdam and this week’s post is about representations of modern masculinity.
If you’d like to see the context of the piece I’m writing just let me know.
Anyway, keep up the great work!
Regards
Darren
Sure Darren! Please go right ahead! Thanks for reading!
